Dart Adams presents A Tale Of Ten Trailers 9 AKA The Olympic Edition

So far the big stories from Beijing have involved fakeouts, muted protests, racist gestures and the overall dominance of the United States and Chinese Olympic teams. While the US holds a slight lead in total medals (82 to 79) the Chinese have raked in the Gold (45 Gold out of 79 total medals to the US's 26 Gold out of 82 total medals) at a scary rate.

The most dominant performers at the 2008 Summer Olympics are hands down Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt. While Phelps has managed to win every race he entered to rack up 8 Gold medals he also set 7 World records. That's some shit that I could only do in Track & Field II on my NES with an NES Advantage or an NES Max by holding down the Turbo button!

Speaking of the Turbo button, this bwoy is fast as hell! Not only did he win the 100 and 200 meter dash at the 2008 Summer Olympics but he set World records in both events. The scariest thing is that he slowed down the last 20 meters of his 100 meter race and he ran so fast in the 200 that he forced two other runners to run out of their lanes trying to catch him, resulting in their disqualifications. Jesse Owens couldn't do that. Carl Lewis couldn't do that. Michael Johnson couldn't do that. Shit, Ben Johnson couldn't even do that and he was CLEARLY on steroids!

The Redeem Team has been playing like Super Saiyans lately but the Women's team has been playing that way from jump! The US softball team is smackin' squads (though they had a rough go at it against Japan) and all three squads are favorites to bring home Gold. In the spirit of the Summer Olympics I present to you 12 trailers to commemorate the upcoming 2nd anniversary of the day I began blogging as Dart Adams. For info on any or all of these upcoming films please feel free to check out IMDb. Enjoy:

W. looks sort of awful. Like a movie-of-the-week awful. Oliver Stone looks like he's lost it.
