Dart Adams presents Adapt This! Revisited

With seemingly nonstop news of some kind involving another comic book, graphic novel, cartoon or video game property being optioned and given the greenlight by Hollywood for film adaptations I decided to pick quite a few properties that I'd like to see get a big screen translation or adaptation as well. In some cases, I'd even like to do the job...for a hefty fee. LOL. Since a few of the films I picked the first time around actually did get optioned, here's my revised list of potential properties below:

Black Panther

Hitman

American Flagg

Bad Boy

Channel Zero

Grey

Generation X

Tekken

Sandman

The New Warriors

Winter Soldier

Alpha Flight

X Force

Dinosaurs For Hire

DMZ

The Killer (Der Killer)

Strikeforce Morituri

Gungrave

Rifts

Grrl Scouts

Transmetropolitan

Killer7

Onimusha

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six

Contra

Assassin’s Creed

Lost Planet

Trigun

Hellsing

F.E.A.R.

The Nightly News

Sentences: The Life Of MF Grimm

Mirror's Edge

Universal War One

Haunted Tank

*Denotes that project/adaptation is currently in development limbo

'Sandman' is probably asking for a lot. Personally, the only way I would ever accept any sort of adaptation of 'Sandman' or any of its related stories (like the two 'Death' stories, The High Cost Of Living and The Time Of Your Life) is if they were animated. Then again, if I need to see the characters drawn, I could always just read the graphic novels and comic books again, so my argument is pointless.

I would watch a Contra movie if they figured out a way to incorporate the Konami code into the storyline itself, though.

Yo!!! I agree with alot of that list. I'll add comic book "The Boys" to the list.
