Seeing as how we're halfway through the 6th month of the year I thought I'd once again remind the folks out there that Hip Hop is very much alive. I haven't listened to jack new this yr, except Slim Shady, which got the delete after 1 listen (due to the min beats, & the annoying excessive rape/gay sex/drug OD talk)

Can u list out a Top 5 (&/or Top 10, Top 20) "cream" of this list for us "comatose" dudes that only have time to check a few albums?

Continued props. As a part-time 1-man hobbyist blog, u continue to eviscerate wack-ass "professional full time" XXL mag when in the area of ID'ing new quality hip hop albums. (Of course, that is prolly not the real goal of XXL).
